We are looking for a finance analyst experienced and Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred;
- Familiarity with treasury products, derivatives, and options is advantageous;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
- Excellent team collaboration skills;
- A solid understanding of control processes and a curious mindset;
- Ability to link product control activities with the strategic objectives of the desks.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Familiarity with treasury products, derivatives, and options is advantageous;
- GLAO certification on Balance Sheet accounts.
Responsibilities
- Produce daily P&L reports and perform P&L decomposition;
- Provide commentary on significant P&L drivers and relate them to the business strategies of the desks;
- Monitor new deals, late deals, and market operations;
- Conduct checks for transactions executed at off-market rates and provide justifications;
- Monitor exceptions between reported P&L vs. trader estimates and identify breaches of threshold limits for unexplained P&L attributions;
- Reconciliation of PL between Management reporting vs General Ledger.
