We are seeking a visionary leader to take charge of our client's distribution strategy and business planning function for Bancassurance and Third-Party Distribution (TPD) channels. This role is a high-impact position, pivotal to driving the growth and optimization of sales and distribution efforts across key business verticals.

Job location: BKC Office, Mumbai

As the lead for distribution strategy and business planning, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the distribution strategy for Bancassurance and TPD channels. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to build innovative distribution models, develop data-driven strategies, and ensure seamless collaboration with partners. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, maximizing renewal collections, and fostering a high-performing culture across cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive business insights and decisions.
  • Proven experience in managing Bancassurance and Third-Party Distribution setups within financial services or insurance.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across different teams.
  • Solid understanding of business analytics and its application in driving sales and distribution performance.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative sales schemes and partnership models.
  • Leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring teams and fostering a high-performance work culture.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and liaise with Operations, IT, Finance, and Sales teams to deliver results.
  • Qualification : MBA or CA equivalent

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Experience with building and managing large-scale distribution networks.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the business analytics function for sales and distribution, driving actionable insights to optimize performance.
  • Design and implement schemes that maximize renewal collections and improve customer retention.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, IT, and Finance to develop and deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with corporate agents, brokers, and partners, ensuring alignment on distribution strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and regularly report progress to senior leadership, adjusting strategies as needed to meet business goals.
