Mandatory Skill(s)

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and related discipline;
• At least 10+ years of working experience, preferably in banking environments;
• Expertise in Apache, JBOSS, IBM WebSphere, IBM IHS, IIS Administration;
• Candidate with operational experience, preferably in support of critical application systems will have an advantage;
• The candidate has strong infrastructure/technical background with knowledge on Open Systems platform, Firewall and load balancer, and moderate information security knowledge;
• Good leadership skills in working with application teams and service providers in defining infrastructure deployment plan, cutover/migration strategy and test plan;
• Have a good understanding of ITIL processes;
• Candidate speaks and write well.

Desirable Skill(s)

•  Good to have experience working with Banking/Financial Sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end deployment and delivery of IT infrastructure for projects, including planning, setup, testing, pre-production readiness, and production cutover and ensure smooth transition to Operations before project closure;
• Collaborate with Solution Engineers, Application teams, Infrastructure SMEs, and service providers to meet project objectives and schedules and review solution scope, implementation, and cutover strategies;
• Prepare and submit change requests for infrastructure deployment (e.g., facility/VM, IP/DNS/Hostname, SAN requisitions) in compliance with bank policies and approved designs;
• Manage risks and escalations during project deployment to achieve target SLAs for Infrastructure Provisioning;
• Ensure disaster recovery readiness per Bank Policy;
• Interface with Infrastructure, Project Management, and Application Development teams for setup readiness;
• Track and report on Vulnerability Threat Management (VTM) schedules and remediation efforts;
• Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of Middleware components (e.g., JBOSS, APACHE, WebSphere) and manage firewall changes, DNS, and SLB configuration requests;
• Provide 24/7 support for UAT and Production systems;
• Address pen test vulnerability fixes and manage patch deployment for all platforms and support EOS/EOL upgrades.
