We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IPA Business Support Engineer to join Competitive Pricing team within Financial Markets. In this role, you will provide both technical and functional support for the Pricing Architecture Platform (IPA),

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or related fields;
  • Have 4+ years of experience in providing functional support to traders and risk management teams, preferably in real-time position management systems;
  • Understanding of financial products such as Rates & Credits, Fixed Income, Repos, FX, and Money Markets, along with risk management concepts;
  • Strong experience in IT operations and support, including identifying and resolving incidents in workflows (data, technical, functional);
  • Experience with Linux, Python, SQL/Oracle, and scripting experience;
  • Familiarity with modern distributed middleware (e.g., GridGain, Redis, Kafka);
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus);
  • Affinity with IT Risk and Security concepts (protocols, certificates, SOx compliance, vulnerability management);
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment and interact with people at all levels;
  • A proactive mindset, with a focus on finding and resolving the root causes of incidents to improve the overall customer experience.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Familiarity with Datasynapse or Apache Ignite (GridGain);
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional and operational support for the derivatives platform, ensuring real-time and intraday management of trading positions and risk across asset classes;
  • Oversee production incidents during trading activities, lead resolution efforts, and coordinate with teams to minimize disruptions;
  • Identify, track, and resolve root causes of application issues to prevent future incidents. Collaborate with the Product Owner and other teams to prioritize and resolve issues;
  • Work with the latest tools to improve platform performance, stability, and security. Automate testing, deployments, and monitoring where possible;
  • Perform functional testing and manage change processes to ensure safe and successful deliveries to the production environment;
  • Conduct training sessions for users and create documentation for system functionalities and reporting tools;
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment with cross-border teams. Participate in scrum ceremonies and collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and performance;
  • Take ownership and proactively improve the platform and its ecosystem, focusing on enhancing customer experience and optimizing workflows.
